Home Sweet Home

Home Sweet Home is a series that I have created. Not only for me but for those that are also a product of domestic violence. 1 in 4 children who have witnessed domestic violence is more likely to be in an abusive relationship themselves. Growing up it was the only “healthy” relationship I knew. Through these photographs, my goal is to tell my side of it by putting myself on the other end. During this process, I took these photographs using a film camera and a digital camera. When editing the series, I had every intention of showing the darkest blacks and the whitest whites and using the harsher tones to help me convey the story.
